SOUTHERN AFRICA - SAFARI & VACATION REGIONS

BOTSWANA The country has remained focused on delivering the finest possible, authentic wildlife experience. This is accomplished through one of Africa’s most sensible land plans ever devised.
SOUTH AFRICA South Africa is a land of visual diversity  and  compelling,  unforgettable beauty, whose landmarks, both natural and  man made,  tell the story of a country with a fascinating heritage, richly endowed by nature – and only partially tamed by man.
NAMIBIA Namibia is a vast land of intriguing contrasts, populated by a dramatic diversity of people; it is home to the arresting and private Himba tribe as well as a large population of German speaking nationals. T
ZAMBIA The safari has come a long way since the days of moustachioed men with big guns and pith helmets; today you're much more likely to see giant telephoto lenses sticking out of a 4WD. Zambia has many excellent safari opportunities, mainly in its great national parks, with endless opportunities for photos. Most popular are wildlife-viewing tours by open-top vehicle.
ZIMBABWE

Zimbabwe, landlocked republic, southern Africa, bounded on the north-west by Zambia, on the north-east and east by Mozambique, on the south by South Africa, on the south-west by Botswana, and on the west by Botswana and the Caprivi Strip of Namibia. It was formerly the British colony of Southern Rhodesia (later Rhodesia).

KENYA Kenya is one of the only places in Africa where you can watch a lion kill in the Masai Mara in the morning, then drift over coral reefs in a glass-bottomed boat off tropical Mombasa in the afternoon; or wander back in time through the Islamic island of Lamu. Kenya is Africa in miniature; it is home to the greatest concentration of free-ranging wildlife on earth as well as an astounding diversity of people with almost every main African tongue spoken and over forty distinct ethnic groups
TANZANIA

Tanzania is Africa to the power of ten. Within its borders are Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro; Africa's biggest lake, Lake Victoria; Africa's longest and the world's second deepest lake, Lake Tanganyika; and the world's biggest concentration of wild animals and most spectacular mammal migration in the Serengeti. Accommodation tends to be of rondavel or banda-type (huts made from traditional palm matting, with a lounge, central dining and bar in single unit hotels. Do not be misled by the term “tented accommodation” – this usually refers to luxurious, insect-proof tents that are permanently pitched on concrete bases, often including en suite bathrooms with flushing toilets
